I bought one of the coops Molly's hubby builds for Michael's daughter and her family to thank them for cutting down the dead trees. It was delivered today and apparently instantly converted to a playhouse! She won't want to do that when the chickens arrive!

I thought it would be a good starter coop for them. They plan to fence a bigger run around it for when they are home but they can keep them safe when they aren't. They just want to start with three layers and then of course I am hatching Ember a sizzle!

Thanks Molly! Remind me to pay you. (in extra sizzles)

mimddh are you back yet? How was the dog show? Do they have any puppy matches in your area? They are great training grounds for dog & handler and pretty informal (at least in my day), and the entry fees won't set you back much.
The shows were lots of fun. There are puppy matches, and I'm kicking myself for not going to some earlier, but I NEVER thought I would show a dog. Here's a photo of Sunna, my wife, and some random stranger she found ruggedly handsome. Our friend, Jen, took the photo for the breeder.

Well....I hope Boston posts one so we can see him!
......here is one of my Dreki Jr lookalike, Falki,.......the most recent pic I have...taken two weeks ago....also my avatar...

Girl talk alert. You guys might want to avert your eyes.

I have been doing a bit more shopping. I bought a chair to go alongside my whorehouse lamp which Kelly secretly admitted to liking so much she would steal it. The lamp, not the chair.

I also bought the Victorian framed print of the little girl with blue birds.

I bought these statues which perfectly sum up my relationship with Michael, the musician.

I think this piece of sheet music I bought sums up Michael's feelings too!

I bought a couple of things for the downstairs bedroom which I am referring to as the dayroom until I need it for sleeping at night.

I got a wall shelf.

I also bought a bench for the vanity I bought at the street fair. The seat will be recovered of course. The black mirror I picked up yesterday too. The parquet flooring is getting covered with carpet in this room.

I also bought a daybed frame from a starving student at UC Davis. Please excuse that I have no bedding and that the drywall is missing behind the bed. I promise this room is all going to come together and be fabulous.

WOW Mary, I love everything you have done.. I really need to go through my house room by room... Out with the old ....in with some new :)
