Thanks for all the ice-cream hiding tips. It's actually a local brand, Velvet Ice Cream. I eat a nice normal ice cream flavor, like Moose Tracks, while my wife will eat Italian Spumoni. She enjoys eating all of hers then moving on to mine so she can see the disappointment in my eyes when I go to get some and she has eaten it all.

Yes, watching the dogs, particularly the mother, is a real eye opener. It also clues you in when you can start teaching them something.
 
That's the problem I have with "an open carton, is an empty carton." When I go look for more - there is none. Rarely I will find an ice cream bar that slipped through the cracks, so to speak. but, it is a miracle when it happens.
 
It's never too cold for ice cream. But then, I live in a relatively warm climate.
