Well now I wouldn't say lost. Invested perhaps. Ours are paying rent and they are helpful just not diligent. I don't know what this past generation did to have raised such incapable offspring. To many of us with our grandchildren.Lordy, I put a roof over my daughter's head 15 years ago so the kids could get through high school. Last one graduates in June. I can count on one hand the number of times my daughter has paid her rent to me in that time. I can't count on a calculator the amount of money I have lost. But, I got the girls through school and they will all have to take care of themselves very soon. The Bank of Mary has just closed its doors, except to Mary! I am too old to be homeless. I get cold easily.![]()
I figure to do the best I can until the good lord takes me home. It's really His help that will keep me sane. I keep praying for wisdom to make the right choices.
Kind of funny about the Free love generations not realizing there are dividends to pay or something like that.
