yeah rain just let up.. short lived I know.

It's going to be very short lived. It's raining like heck at my house, so depending on how fast the clouds can travel 10ish miles.

I just convinced DH to go to the garage to get a bin/clamp lamp/feeder/waterer. The first chicks from my staggered hatch really need to move out. They have been playing soccer with the rest of the eggs in the hatcher since yesterday. I'm starting to see pips in more and I'd like to give them a little peace and quiet, LOL

Ida is really stuck on those golf balls and if I try to see if anyone else laid an egg in there, she leaves a mark on my hand. I've never had a broody go after me that hard since we had game hens when I was a kid. She is VERY protective of those "eggs".
