Another Aussie breeder said he's probably going to be an 80 pounder- which is the HIGH range for their adult size.

I'm not all that up on the weights for this breed, but yes, that does sound high to me from just looking at them. Should be an impressive dog.

Rinda you caught me way off guard. I thought you wrote you daughter went under the coop to have babies. I thought WHY would someone do that!! OY ,must stay focused

Please count the puppies again, I think JUMBO may have eaten have eaten a couple siblings. Are you sure he isn't aussie sheepdog x Cornish cross?

I once had a cocker pup born that was 1 lb. a normal pup is 7-8 oz. It looked so developed I expected the eyes to be open, and for it to walk. Luckily the weight came down
when he started moving around.

Is this a breeding of the same parents?

Someone else suggested there were two puppies in that puppy suit!

Yes same parent pairing as the last litter.

Weight range for Aussies are 40-80 lbs. My female is on the smaller side (probably 40-45), my male is pretty close to the middle (I'd guess 55). So I would be surprised if this guy doesn't end up evening out with the others as he grows. But it's possible he will end up very large.

Two females are spoken for already- hooray! 5 more to go- and 8 weeks of work ahead of me!
