I live on Eva Street. DS #2 informs me that "Eva" means "enmity" whatever..
there is a road on the other side of the hill called, Camino Sin Nombre.....
Can't wait to see pics of the new place Mary.
Yesterday we trimmed the huge GRAPEFRUIT tree in the back (the south side). I keep telling my DW that I could fit a small coop nicely under it... and there is electricity there so I could put a small AC unit in it. But... she just rolls her eyes and says, "NOT GOING TO HAPPEN". We'll see.
I'm still trying to get over my vacation. Tomorrow I work from 7AM to 7PM. I hope I'm still functional at 5PM.... for my patients sake. Good news is: I only work half a day on Friday and Saturday I have OFF!.. but DS#1, preg. wife and granddaughter are coming to Phoenix and I have to put up the fence to keep the little one away from the pool.... a big job.. but it will be fun to have them here the first week of Aug.
Now that vacation is over, DW is trying to get DS#5 ready to go to college in Utah (starts the 18th of Aug), that and get his mission papers ready to go so that by the end of Sept. we should know where he will be assigned. After one semester he'll be out in the world somewhere. My eldest four have gone various places... #1 to Eugene, OR (Spanish speaking) #2 to Budapest, Hungary, #3 to Xalapa, Mexico and #4 is in Ferrara, Italy at present. DW wants #5 to go to England where she served, I'm hoping for Ecuador where I served. He'll probably end up somewhere here in the states.
We are also in the midst of buying clothes and school supplies for #6 who starts High School and #7 who starts Junior High ... and since she is a girl it will be EXPENSIVE.(both start Aug 10th)
DS#2 and his wife are currently in Iowa City.. (we moved them there at the beginning of our vacation)
DS#3 is in King of Prussia, PA and will head back to Utah to start his 3rd year at the University in mid Aug.
Having 7 kids is a busy proposition and extremely expensive. I will never retire.
There's your long boring update.... that started with me just telling y'all about a couple of street names!
