Yes, Mike gave consent.

It is 70 miles to go there. We had no idea this would be such a big ordeal and have no backup babysitters. Tyler and his girlfriend are our helpers. She is off on Sun and Mon and he is off on Sun and Tues. Those are really the only days I can get away without kiddos.

I have to find someone for next Wednesday, because I have to go a court date that is 100 miles away.

Well, good news - today they are installing my new carpet.

Something to look forward to.

That makes it difficult. Yay on the carpet. On the plus side, you don't have anyone to argue with you on your choices.

Well, the carpet being installed is good news. I really hope they get rid of the infection soon, so they can take care of his leg.

If I recall correctly, a nice green is the desirable color for Isbar eggs. Do brown eggs just happen with some of the hens or does it mean it's crossed?

Quick visit on the bees today since it was warm out. They were bringing in pollen too! I popped the tops quickly to take a look at their feed. Both still had patties, but were out of syrup. Since we are going to have 6 more days of relatively warm temps, I topped them off with sugar syrup. Next week it's supposed to get really cold, so I wanted to make sure all was good before then!
