Sorry, I have been spending too much time with my sister lately. We were always a tattling.

Exactly. The Canon 5D Mark III does not automatically refocus as the subject moves or the shooter moves. So, you have to continuously keep refocusing. I need to read more about how to use this camera for video, but right now my plate is pretty full, as I like it!

My Nikon has the same annoying characteristic, which is why I mostly shoot video with my small (non-sLR) Cannon which does much better video. I did pick up a GoPro but have had almost no time to play with it yet - would love to try some of the time-lapse functions.

This week's assignment for the 52 Week Photography Challenge was landscape. My sister and I visited the Avio Wine vineyard in Amador county.



I did a bit of an artistic edit before submitting.

Tomorrow is the first submission day for Week 3, and the assignment is "red." Since I always need food photography practice, this is my submission.

At least you are doing some traveling for this photo challenge. I absolutely love the tomato picture. The winery is a beautiful picture as well, but I like the first one better.
