I know. Learned my lesson before ever getting out the door. Hurting this morning but much improved over yesterday. Michael is running my Sacramento errands for me this morning and I am going to try to do a few small things at the shop and paint a shelf for the back wall. Still have to get my parents down to see the shop before it opens. Maybe today.

This afternoon the looney husband of the looney tenant next door got into a fight with a woman who was holding a parking spot for someone else. I jumped up to run outside to help her. The hot glue gun I was using went off shooting hot glue all over my hand. I have third degree burns on one finger and first degree on three others.

OUCH!

Had a great opening day. A few customers came through and some even bought stuff! I did all the transactions flawlessly! Sold some MudPaint and maybe made a believer out of a guy who is an Annie Sloan chalk paint fanatic! A friend made an awesome new sign for the the store! She is an awesome primitive artist and has been an inspiration and great resource to me.

Michael took this when he left me alone to close out the shop for the day!
