Try putting the trap inside the run when the chickens are confined to the coop. Your dog shouldn't be able to step on it there.Quote:Yeah, but it's not feasible here for me. I should have baited it with my dead chicken, but I didn't think about it until after I buried her.I would probably try a livetrap with a chicken head in it, icky as it sounds. Then you could relocate it deep in wilderness.
