Yeah, but it's not feasible here for me. My dog would get in it.

Try putting the trap inside the run when the chickens are confined to the coop. Your dog shouldn't be able to step on it there.

I would probably try a livetrap with a chicken head in it, icky as it sounds. Then you could relocate it deep in wilderness.

I should have baited it with my dead chicken, but I didn't think about it until after I buried her.

This is so cute. I wish I had a big ol kitchen that I could dress up with cute farm looking things. I already do, just glad I have a top over my counters..lots of chicken things, and farm type vases.
