Thank you! The worst part of it is a 3/4 mile stretch called Cardiac Trail with a 31.4% grade. I end the race on a 20% grade. It is certainly not an easy race.

Others are doing a 50K.

Wow, with those grades it'll feel more like a whole marathon.
 
Okay, lets explain this one. I have not had a male in my barnevelder coop since he died on 12/13/16. I had not seen him actively mating in quite some time. Eggs prior to my hens going into molt were not fertile.

Now this past Wednesday, I got a first pullet egg from a wellie pullet in this coop. A surprise when I saw this. Full bullseye, but how can that be? 2 months later and a pullet that was not mature when he was alive. And there is zero chance another male got in.

It is possible for a hen to have a fertile egg without a rooster.

If that happens, the embryo dies soon into incubation though.
