Actually, preemie diapers work great on baby emus. That is what mine wore when they ran around the hose outside of their cage.

I probably screwed up the address on the shipping slip since I was on Vicodin. He looks pretty good for traveling. I hope you like him. I have great news. I got a call at 9:45 this morning from the oral surgeon's office saying they had a cancellation and if I could be there in 15 minutes I could get it done four hours earlier. I got my Michael up and off we sped to the office. I arrived in time, liked the oral surgeon a lot, had the extraction, stopped at the store for prescriptions and soft foods and I am home ready to nap. Still can't tell if that was the tooth causing the pain because I am numb. I was under general anesthesia so I am a bit wonky and need to rest. The oral surgeon is a new chicken owner and he had lots of questions for me. He was concerned that one of his chickens is missing some tail feathers and you can see some skin. The last thing I remember before going under was explaining molting. I'll check back in after a nap. I am so glad I am still not waiting for my appointment time. This couldn't have worked out better. Love ya' all lots. Hey Diva, I am on Norco now!
