Last week the home warranty company paid an HVAC company to replace the heat pump compressor. Today it is blowing ice cold air again.

Tucker and I are closed up in my office with a space heater.

They are talking about it on the NYD thread. MR. Heinz will run it but will not have the big prizes. Sally Shunshine is probably going to help along with mstricer.

Calling Kelly...Calling Kelly.




I had forgotten to put down paper towels for the new chicks so I grabbed a quick picture when doing so. The other two eggs are both pipped as well and the late egg is pushing up on the inner membrane!

Michael built a fence to enclose a little yard for Tucker. We used 8 foot preassembled sections and had to get creative with the slope of our land. Michael even moved in a little stump that he likes to use as a fire hydrant. The dog door is in the utility room and unfortunately Tucker is afraid of vinyl flooring and he won't walk in there. We may have to re-locate the dog door to where I wanted it to go. We'll see. Maybe he will want to go out badly enough to brave the vinyl floor.

YAY for Kelly's chicks!

Michael did a great job on the fence! It looks very nice! Tucker will surely love it.

It has been raining most all day here. We need it very much, though I hate the mud. Internet service is off and on -> satellite, ain't it great?!
