Well, this is a new one on me: there's a bat in my house. A flying around bat. Okay, it's resting now, hidden somewhere behind or around or under either the water heater or the well pressure tank (yes, inside the house) after I chased it around with a net.

I have opened one side of the patio French door and hope the bat will make its escape whilst I myself am resting (and posting).

Darn cat. It had to be Lizbeth who most likely brought it in through the pet door.

I am not afraid of bats, as I know they're terrified of me. I had considered putting up a bat house to lure some to come snack on flying insects, but maybe that's not necessary now.

Oh, wait, yes it is - I don't want them living WITH me, just in close proximity to the house. Exterior of the house. The outside. Not the inside.

Gonna go look for it again. Can't keep heating the house with that door open...
