Very, VERY windy here...lots of blowing dust.


Eggs are in the oven! I got a broody!!!!

(My Blue Copper Olive egger is sitting tight on all 8 eggs as we speak!)... and she is huge! No problem covering all of them. It would have been a problem for my Icelandic.

I did warm them considerably before taking them out and I candled. At least three detached air cells so we'll see what happens.

Wahoo!
 
Jason, I wondered if you had gotten snow. It was a COLD rain here that started after the thunder-booms and a slew of hail. We got the pond frame done today as the clouds got bigger and darker. Some of the work was done in full sunshine. So quick a change!
 
Please pray for the safe return of my dear friend's 14 year old niece, Charice Beaumont of Provo, Utah. She disappeared on her way to school this morning, and no one knew until she didn't come home that day. Please follow the search and share with any and all friends and families that may have Utah ties!
 
That's horrible. We had 2 girls disappear in Waterloo last spring and they looked HARD for them. Unfortunately it didn't have a happy ending.

Rinda I am so sorry about your friend's niece. Hopefully she will be found and the nightmare be over. I can't imagine anything more horrible than having a missing child.

As for the bombings in Boston, I have no words.
