OH Mary, my mom used to make the best rice pudding with raisins. I want to eat that picture of yours.

At the Museum of Science and Industry(Chicago), they have an exhibit professing that one day we will be able to get food sent thru the internet or something. Too techy for me to grasp.

I had a doctor appointment scheduled for this morning. Then I got a call from the dispatcher that the buses were cancelled for today due to all the flooded roads. I sat for an hour before it finally sunk in that I wasn't going to the dr. today. Ladies you know what it's like - shower, shave, shampoo (my SSS) hunt thru drawers/closets for presentable clothes, socks that match and non-ratty underwear . All dressed up and nowhere to go. I couldn't reschedule because their answering service said no one was available at the office. Duh, I hate being in limbo.

I weighed the alternatives, clean house OR go back to bed. You guessed it, I just woke up and the water is still out there and more rain to come tonight.
