Geez Mary I had no idea, is Louis OK? Did he need surgery? Emus must be like toddlers everything goes in their mouth - luckily they don't have hands to shove beans up their nose.

Nope they were both fine. We took a 2.5 hour drive in the Hummer with them to a vet with emu experience. He thought it was hilarious!
