I don't think I can compete with Kathy. She has five energetic babies and I have Stuart, Louis, Chica and Loca! Stuart can't see passed his love for Chica who can't see passed her hatred of Stuart. Loca is busy trying to keep the two of them apart. Louis is clueless. But I'll try!

Yesterday's turkey hatch.

The fifth poult hatched with a small bit of unabsorbed yolk. I left it in the hatcher overnight and everything looked fairly dried out this morning. I put it in with the others and tutor chicks, of course by the time I went back to check, the chicks had picked it bloody. So it's resting back in the hatcher on it's own. It looks fine, but missed the photo op.



If the size of the snood at hatch was an indicator, I'd go a boy and three girls.

Wow, you must have gone to some HS. Yes, there were mean girls (I wasn't part of any clique), but I never got bloodied, LOL (thankfully).

The clue was, I went to check on the poults and saw two chicks with bright red beaks, so I dug though the pile and found the poor baby

you need to try some penedesenca and cut down on the ac bill
