Good to know. I just started doing lockdown the evening of day 17 for each hatch because it is easiest to candle that night and just put them straight in the hatch tray. Otherwise my 18 month old wants to "help" me lock down eggs the next day... Glad to know my my new method won't harm them!

Change of plans. Not leaving right this minute. We are waiting by the phone for further information from my sister-in-law. We hope to be able to wait until the weekend to leave. If she is doing well enough for us to wait.....
