Stella's Social Club

Pics
Not to be contrary, but I really liked those Cypress, but que sera, sera.

I've got to take pics of the two Icelandics I have that look like Stela... one with a crest, one without.

Its ok Mahonri. I would have been ok with them if they had been the same size, had the branches gone all the way down to the ground instead of 6 feet of bare trunk, and had they not have been full of cobwebs and old bird's nests. My other complaint is that they do not look natural with the rest of the native oaks and other trees.

I saw on the news that you guys had another haboob today. What the heck is up with that?

I'd love to see pics of your Stella look-a-likes. Hopefully they are better behaved! Mine now comes running when she sees me outside to get treats. I tell her to come around to the screen room so the other chickens don't see. When Michael goes outside I always hear him say "Oh Hi Stella." She's quite the girl. I can't imagine life without her.

Seems to me it was originally posted in the correct forum.

I can hardly wait to see Mahonri's pictures!

These bifocals, trifocals, progressive-ocals, or whatever the heck they are - well, I am not having an easy time "getting use to them!" I hope I can adjust. I really do like my reading glasses though.

I got into poison ivy a couple days ago. I am allergic to poison ivy. My ER doctor at work wrote me a prescription for Prednisone. Benadryl helps curb the itching. What a weepy mess this crap can turn in to.

OH Kathy, sorry about the poison ivy. I concur with Kelly about poison oak. I haven't had it since I was a teenager but I will never forget the itch. Hope you get used to the glasses soon to. I need to go get new ones myself.

Maybe Kelly could ask why we got moved. Or maybe she knows? I mean, if the bunch of us don't fit into the category Random Ramblings I don't know who does!

Mary, I agree on the Italian Cypress needing to be branched to the ground......I think all evergreens should be..........but that's me........

I hope Prednisone is working, the poison ivy doesn't last long, and you get used to the new glasses soon

The tree removal video is posted on my blog. Pay special attention to tree number four noting the power lines.
