I don't even like biscuits and gravy but I made some this morning and they were so good!

Now my preference would always be the biscuits with the honey, yum!

However if you're going to do gravy, I'm glad to see the butter melting under the gravy! But it looks like lawn grass on there.

It's surprisingly difficult to take a picture of a skelter full of welsummer eggs. This was the best I could do that shows their actual color.



And this was outside. Setting came out nice, but the eggs are washed out:

Kelly, do you have your indoor lights turned off when you shoot? The fluorescent bulbs give the yellowish cast.

I bought a little timelapse camera after seeing it on TV. We shot this video of the back yard last night. You can see the chickens in the runs, me gathering eggs and the birds finally settling in for the night. We have to work on the fish-eye thing though. I think that will mean upgrading lenses. Or not, if Michael has his way.

I made my offer on the ten acres and the sellers had a counter offer which I wanted to accept without quibble, but my real estate agent suggests "we" make a counter-counter offer. (Originally, I was going to pay for the septic inspection and well quality/flow rate, but she thinks they should pay for 'em since we're not gonna dicker over the 6K price increase.)

This is hard for a person who has very little patience. I wanted to jump on it and run away with an acceptance, but I am not a real estate maven. She said "Won't hurt to try - we're in the negotiation stage, now. I won't let you lose this if they say no... We can concede at that point."

Gaah!
