I had a problem that I had 6-7 turkey hens through the entire turkey breeding season. DH was convinced I should incubate every one of their eggs, MANY hatched!60 turkeys? for real? Foster Farms doesn't have that many!![]()
How about a Wallaby ? I drove to Winnemucca Nevada to get my kids who where in Boise Idaho and the inlays met me half way.<*perk*> Barbados sheep? My former landlady in West Sac had a few Barbados sheep - those are the ones that don't need to be sheered because they don't grow wool, but hair, and lose it themselves each year. They eat star thistle, I think.... I hope, anyway.
As for the emus, I am thinking I should raise from chicks....
In any case, I'd have to get fencing appropriate for them in an appropriate area of the property....
Still waiting for a response to my counter offer, much less actually having space for 'em.
That corner looks a lot better without that old dead tree, Mary.
Well they hop around and look cute. Oh and cost a lot. can not have them in california though. What do you do with wallabies? I've seen then in a zoo, wasn't impressed tho.
