I'd agree, you will be happier with dark grout. Another fun picture I shared on my facebook- it's from my cell phone camera so not great quality. I captioned it, "I'm not sure who's walking whom here!" The lady told us he was partially house trained and lead trained, obviously that training was VERY partial as I've had problems with both already.... SIGH well I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to get a puppy.

Rinda - gosh your daughter has a head of hair! I can relate, as I have very thick hair myself. And puppy looks to be playing with his leash.
Oh my gosh yes it is SUPER thick and slightly curly- almost unmanageable. About every 6 months I have to take her in to have it redone because she gets tired of it and self cuts...

And the puppy twisted his head around to chew on the leash every time I tried to walk him the first 2 days. Hence my joke about being "partially" leash trained. I'm not sure he's ever had one on. But he's going to be a big boy when he grows up and I want him used to it for when it is needed. He's doing better already.

Give the puppy something to carry and he'll forget about the leash.

We always had pups doing that -also had one that would grab his ear (long eared -cocker) whenever we were going to school. He knew it would get him a lot of attention. If we pulled it out, he grabbed it back. I bet as soon as we went out the door - he spit it out and went

Haha! Thanks I will try that.

I can so relate Rinda, except mine is super thick AND naturally curly. I have to have it layered or it drives me nuts.

I had a nice visit with Mary and Tucker this morning. Tucker came right up to me. And I've been "approved" by him - he jumped up in my lap, insisted on going for a 10 feet long ride in my car, and most importantly, he let me pick him up. (To get him out of my car)

I also learned the ropes for feeding the animals. I just hope the goats don't get their heads stuck in the fence while I'm taking care of them.

I think I will be happy for this year to be over. It just seems it has not been such a good year for me.
Nevertheless, I am grateful for my many blessings and certainly should not complain.

Today, the guys came to install the quartz counter tops. They got here on schedule, at 0930. They came in the house and immediately saw that they were missing a piece. So, they left and returned to Kansas City (90 mi) to get the piece. Three hours later they return. I am in town running errands and getting paint. Mike is home. When I got home - I walked in the kitchen and about screamed! NOOOOO ! ! ! That is not what I ordered!
This is what they installed....
It is horrible! It is BLACK with a few white specks and shiny mirror pieces in it! Honestly!
Yes, like shiny mirrors!
