As I said before, I think the lamp is safe right where it is.

The egg is really a beautiful shade of dark green. The breeder isn't happy about it though, and will be replacing her rooster. (this girl hatched from a blue egg)

Happy Chooks be careful around the lamp, I think it's wired up so that a huge boulder crashes down and flattens anything in it's path ala Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

I am in the middle of baking fruitcakes for my parents and ex-husband. The house smells really good but the run is about to knock me out! I am using Alton Brown's Free Range Fruitcake recipe again because it is just so good. Since I am baking the cakes so close to Christmas I decided to use the paper mini loaf pans instead of a big pan. The brandy spritzing should do it's job quicker that way. I am saving one for myself of course.
