Stella's Social Club

Uh, Mahonri, it is extremely rude to post about vine ripened tomatoes and fresh corn on the cob at Christmas.

This summer we'll have to start cracking jokes about your weather. Oh, yeah, we do that already. Carry on.

I am going to get some of these I think.
I was thinking similar. To me the Golden Cuckoo Marans looks almost Crele double barred pattern.
This guy is similar to my crele penedesenca but with Red replacing the darker grey and browns

Awesome...sounds like you had a great day Jason..Congratulations! Did any of your eggs at Debs hatch?

I AM POOPED.

I WORKED WITHOUT A BREAK FROM 7:30AM UNTIL AFTER 5PM AT THE OFFICE.

And I come home to only 6 eggs. 3 icees, a BR, LH and PR.

Tomorrow and Saturday is our family reunion at my brothers place.

I just want to lie down and sleep... and they have me booked solid again tomorrow, all of next week and most of the week after that. I think they are trying help me take a dirt nap.

I shouldn't complain, perhaps the recession is finally coming to an end. I HOPE SO, but I've gotten used to being LAZY.

My little w/BW Ameraucanas are gorgeous and I didn't dare put them under Blucy my broody.. I've got to get a couple of layer chicks from the feed store to put under her or she'll die on those golf balls.

I'm starting to guess the gender on some of my polish chicks. I'm guessing that the thick legged ones are going to be roos. It looks like only 7 or 8 of the 21 are going to be pullets.

Glad home sales are being finalized. Glad also we don't get snow in Phoenix...

but I've got such HUGE tomato plants I'm going to have to buy some freeze cloths to cover them here next week... just in case. I harvested the last of my sweet corn this week. It's been an awesome month of corn on the cob from the rows I planted the end of August. I've got peppers to pick now and brocolli that's starting to form and little lettuce to harvest before long. I'll have to think about what I'm going to plant in place of the corn stalks I'll be pulling... probably beans and peas.

Have a great week my friends.
I'm jealous of your December garden, but on the other hand I'm greatful for the break with mine safely under 2 feet of snow. It is a lot of work!

What all do you think about these?
Lee Penny ( Marans and more ) on here asked me to share these.
I only know what he has told me but am super interested
Red Crele Dominique . I love anything Crele though.
