My chickens got a treat today. Alfalfa hay was on sale, so I bought a bale. Each coop got a flake. This is my large coop with my barnevelder flock. My wellies are in another coop - they didn't get their picture taken because they are more "picky" to things out of the ordinary. There are a few cull wellies in this picture though that will soon be going to live with a friend. My barnevelder rooster was all excited calling to the girls - he had better enjoy it now, as he is soon being replaced by the cockerel in the back.

Chica is so demure, I think she'd like the song "I feel pretty." When she was displaying, it almost looked like she had a smile on her lips - er mouth, or whatever that is called.
