Stella's Social Club

Thanks Kathy!

I am about to go back down to the basement to check for more activity on Kelly's eggs. This is like bringing your friend's newborn home from the hospital while they stay over.

Michael built a fence to enclose a little yard for Tucker. We used 8 foot preassembled sections and had to get creative with the slope of our land. Michael even moved in a little stump that he likes to use as a fire hydrant. The dog door is in the utility room and unfortunately Tucker is afraid of vinyl flooring and he won't walk in there. We may have to re-locate the dog door to where I wanted it to go. We'll see. Maybe he will want to go out badly enough to brave the vinyl floor.

Mary, Michael did a great job on the fence. Tucker will be safe from any loose dogs and you can let him out without worrying about him getting too close to those furry and feathered critters that might want to stomp him. Love the stump!!

Thanks Mary. I am so glad that stump got moved. It has been right alongside the driveway since we bought the house. I was always afraid of hitting it when backing out of the garage. I don't have to worry about that now!

Number three is out and number four starting to zip! By adding extra water in a plastic pan above the hatcher, I have been able to maintain a humidity of 61-65%. That is pretty good for this incubator. These chicks are hatching great and dry and fluff off very fast. Plus, they are too cute.
