Stella's Social Club

My Cream Legbar chicks are supposed to ship tomorrow. They were supposed to ship last week and didn't, giving me a scare when they failed to arrive. I am so worried they will use my old address and phone number and I'll never know they are here. I have sent several reminders but I am still nervous. I hope the weather is ok for them too. Egads I am going to be a basket case. Y'all are used to that by now though.

Mary, did you order more Cream Legbars from GFF?

I still have the horrid flu. I had a 101-104 fever for 4 days. They put me on some meds and the fever is gone but am still weak and coughing.
I have been sick 3 weeks now in total. My lungs are shot from the coughing but the fever is gone. The doctor was worried I may get pneumonia if the fever came back...

Now for the good stuff.
Everyone is moved. I finished both runs and covered them.
I got 4 eggs today from my 5 crele penedesenca girls.
I introduced my white empordanesa rooster to his girls at dusk tonight.
Both my emp's are laying though my rooster is a tad young still probably..

It is done and I am beat.

Jason, I'm glad you got moved. Very exciting that the Hens are laying so well...good luck incubating.

I'm so sorry you are still sick....Feel Better Jason

Jason, GET SOME REST... and get better.

I think I might live.... at least I'm planning on going to work tomorrow.

Where the heck is Kathy again?

Working and sleeping. That's all I have been doing lately. I am sooo tired!
I have a day off now. Then, I work 2 more nights, and will then be off for a week (to be with Brittney).

Brittney went to the ER one day. No, not in labor, but dehydrated. She has been sick this entire 9 months and is very tired of being pregnant. She is due for her C-section on Friday, Feb 8. If she hasn't changed her mind, the baby's name is gonna be Cylis Kane or Cylis Conrad. I couldn't talk her into my favorite name - Quin Patrick. Well, I have 4 more days - maybe I can yet! Hmm, she likes money. Maybe I could pay her.

Glad you are feeling a bit better, Dar! I hope Jason gets better soon, too!

Emu kids are growing. #6 has the twisted leg - it is getting REAL bad. Worse every day. I don't know what I am gonna do with her. I am thinking she won't be walking at all, pretty soon. This is a couple days ago....

Kathy - that poor baby.

Kathy is the twisted leg thing a genetic problem or a side effect of them being forced from their eggs early? Poor thing I am surprised she can walk.
