I have no idea what he is talking about Mary - those pictures are gorgeous. And what on Earth is that cauliflower looking plant in the 2nd picture?

The Sheriff is a real inspiration!

One of the Blue Egg Layers

Decided to sleep out from under the Ecoglow 20 last night. It was stiff and cold when I picked it up. I asked it if it was dead and did that little finger rub from the video. There was a kind of look to the eyes, so I did a couple more of those and put it into the incubator with the last one to hatch. 20 minutes later and it was fine!

Needless to say they have a heat lamp and the ecoglow on them now. I hatched 7 out of 9 and 4 are blue. Two are very splash and one is yellow. The yellow may be splash too. They are supposed to be early layers so eggs in 5 short months!

Glad it worked for you!

Very cool plant.

Ron - good save! A couple of my chicks that I hatched 2 weeks ago were gettin pasty butt really badly. I haven't had an issue with pasty butt in years, and never this bad. Anyway, I ended up giving them a 150 watt heat lamp - in addition to the ecogow. No more pasty butt, not even from the chicks that hatched last Friday.

Wonder how many eggs are sitting in the Sportsman????... in Nevada.... MO..... :-)
