My grandmother has decided to give some of her jewelry away because she no longer wears it. She is splitting it up between me, my aunt and my cousin. She gave me this today. (the picture doesn't do it justice)

I can not get a good picture of this pretty little Icelandic. It is blue - but looks like lavender. Also has reddish "highlights," especially on the head. A very pretty color.






My broody mama (Wheaten Ameraucana) has those 2 chicks I showed you, ya know.... Well, she will not give up on those other 3 eggs! I just now went out there and removed them, and replaced them with newly hatched chicks. It is dark, so I hope she takes them. She was just cluckin' like crazy to those eggs!
