We got new babies today!!

Love the cutie in the middle facing the wrong way. We do pork the easy way - a friend of ours raises them, we pay the money and they show up in our freezer. Not sure what breed of pig he raises.

Ahh, we were going to ask our neighbors if they wanted a pig at cost, just because they raise so much better with 2 or 3. Singletons just don't thrive as well. I'd rather raise extras and just keep half a one, there's only the two of us.

Although my step-SIL suggested trading pork (their kids are still in 4H/FFA) for dressed quail. Sounded like a good plan to me.

Oh Oh - somebody said CHOCOLATE - I was trying to forget about the Jif Chocolate silk(peanut butter). I only ate 2 take- a -long containers (250 calories each) for lunch - and managed to ignore the last 6 despite them calling to me. Give me strength

Linda did you really eat all 8? I had two boxes of them on Sunday and ate all of them- stomach was NOT happy the next day. Got two more boxes and I'm trying to learn restraint and portion control.

I kinda had you pegged as a "dark" chocolate lover. I know that's healthier but I don't like the bitterness. Would love to see a photo of your doxies. My mind is wandering oh no, doxies dipped in chocolate. Where is a strait jacket when you really need one? And how can a person strap themselves up in one - if nobody wants to help them?

I will eat dark chocolate when there ain't any milk chocolate around. However, last Sunday, at a winery, I was given a piece of dark chocolate and then half a glass of this killer 2005 wine. It was bliss. That is the exception to the rule.

It took two days to finish off the whole 8-pack of chocolate silk - the first four as soon as I got home and "put away" the groceries, and the last four the next day. This was late last week, my last trip to the store.

Too many lasts in that .... Last... Okay, previous sentence.

I don't have photos on the iPad so I can't upload a picture of Dooley and Zorro taken just a few days ago. Make that "or any other photos, either.". Tomorrow I will spend some time at the PC messing with photos, though. Hopefully sharing them, as well.
