Well, you are part of my top secret project the DW agreed to, and now might somewhat regret, but I'll buy here any goat kid and she'll be ok.

Sounds really interesting, but I don't understand the interest in auto sexing since we have Happy Chooks!

Just stick a couple different breeds together in a little pen, and there ya go! Secret project! :D

Uhhh... That would make my whole flock a "special project," wouldn't it?

I tell them no, I want something they will eat, choke to death and die :somad

I'm with you on that.  I actually laughed for real.

Shortly after I moved up here, I discovered the mountain community amnity against deer. There had been a carcass on the side of the county highway underneath the higher property belonging to my real estate agent for a day or two and it was pretty bloated. When I went to her house to deliver some fresh eggs as a thank you gift (she gave me fresh peach jam in return), I mentioned I'd seen the "puffy deer" which wasn't there any more.

She got this most angelic, sweet smile, replying, "She used to eat my roses.". There wasn't a touch of sadness in that smile...

Somebody else calls 'em "Big F'n meadow rats" and in one community where folks feed them, "the neighbor's yard rats."

When I go to the nursery and mention deer, they start discussing deer resistant.  I tell them no, I want something they will eat, choke to death and die :somad

I actually love to watch the deer with their current crop of fawns..................when they are in the neighbor's yard.  We have a resident herd that are here daily, all year round.

The NITE-GUARD solar blinkers really DO work !

Yes, they do, indeed! So do solar "Nite Eyes.". I use both.
