All of you are getting broodies.

No broodies here but I do have 3 girls that have plucked their bellies. I am hoping someone will go broody so I can hatch some more wellies!

Mbmess   when I first looked at  your photo I thought the black hen gave birth to a duplicate.  Then I read you had two broodies sharing the eggs.

It started with one...when I gave her eggs to sit on...her pen mate decided she wanted to do that too so i gave them the rest of the Icee eggs to split. When I got home one had jumped off the nest to do her business....the other one stole her eggs and was covering all 15 by herself. Talk about a determined little banty!
