I have won the war today...............with sewing. It took me a long time to get those darn boy scout badges sewn on, but I beat the sewing machine this time. Gosh I hate sewing with a passion.

My broody is happily sitting on 12 eggs. I'm not sure if my blue barnie boys are making contact yet, but they sure are trying. Also shoved some wellie eggs, an egg that will hatch a black sex link and an olive egger egg under her.

Did I tell you Isi and Lukka's blue daughter is just beautiful?! She started laying this week.

She needs a name.
I have her first egg ready for the incubator. However, today she was out with another guy and I will not be incubating any more of her eggs for awhile.

I solved the mystery of the constantly peeping, frantic chicks.

RIP little baby.

I had one chick once peep non stop. After 2 days I was ready to scream! I watched for quite awhile one day and learned it was blind. I culled it.
