Remember "Mr. Snuffleupagus" from Sesame Street?

...at least from the photo, your emu "Fred" plumage reminds me of that adorable character....

Mr . snuffleupagus always seemed like the kind of animal to I'd like to snuggle up to.

hope everyone had a fantastic mother's day weekend! love seeing all the different pics

we celebrated new orlean's style yesterday and cooked up 120 pounds of crawfish

I LOVE crawdads. We went fishing for them every summer when visiting relatives in WA state (my dad was a Finn). We'd come home with a washtub full. My uncle ran a meat locker, he'd put some chicken guts out in the sun for a couple of days for us to use as bait. A rock, a piece of string and a fish net.................they were huge! Bring them home, boil them, put newspaper on the kitchen table and dump them in the middle. Eat until you were stick, come back a couple of hours later and eat some more, LOL

I thought you guys called them mudbugs? That's what my grandma's family from Gulfport called them.

they have all sorts of names for them down here.... being that it was mother's day i didn't want to take away from the special occasion by referring to them as crawDADS

You could do an egg drop and protect the egg by still having it inside the chicken.

Anyone remember the old episode of WKRP radio. They had a Thanksgiving promotion by dropping live turkeys from a helicopter over the city. No one told them the turkeys couldn't fly

One of the MANY t-shirts I brought home from my trip to NO.

But this was my favorite. I had an employee at work that filed a grievance against me. One of her MANY accusations was that I practiced voodoo (where she got that one, I'll never know).

So I came home with this shirt and I would wear it to the office sometimes on Casual Fridays. I loved, loved, loved it.
