Duh, why would I want to brag about ????

Well, I KNOW I'm not the youngster here... 55... I just hope I can work another 25 years.
In August I will have been a licensed dentist for 26 years... so I'm over half way there!

Yikes it is hot today. Three of my runs get no shade until late afternoon. I was trying to think of a way to provide them with a little shade no matter where the sun is so I came up with an idea to buy wooden sawhorses and add a piece of plywood to the top. That way they have something to climb up on and doe shade underneath. I could also enclose three sides in the winter for a little rain cabana. I need to waterproof and paint them.

I managed to cram ten 3 ft tall sawhorses into the back of my Prius!

They are already enjoying them! I couldn't get pics because my battery went dead. We also put three tripod rainbird sprinklers in the goat/emu pasture. The emus are in heaven.

The goats? Not so much.

Good for you Dar

I wish you practiced out here, I need a GOOD dentist.

Seems like each succeeding dentist has to repair lots of damage from the one before him. My last appointment was in Dec 2012 and my dentist of several years, enlightened me to the fact that she was only giving me a cleaning because she wouldn't be around to fix anything if she found a problem. The equipment was being moved out the next day and she was going back to Michigan. Charged me for the full exam even tho I only had half (cleaning). Wow never saw that coming.

I've gone thru 4 dentists, saw my original one for 37 yrs., then had a fantastic dentist but unfortunately he was up in years and retired a couple years later. The man who purchased his practice told me how much he still owed on his loans and set out to make me his pot of gold. Last dentist was newly practicing and I had her for over 10 years.

I have seen dentists every 6 mos. as recommended since my first time as a little girl - I stopped crying and falling apart once I started high school. Since that time I am very good patient, I am not afraid of dentists anymore just the bill. I only had novacaine for extractions until of late due to very much receded gums and sensitivity.

Mary I love it

Laverne and Shirley are hysterical. They don't have to speak a word. Neither do the emu's who have a new, found toy . I sense videos in the making (please, please with sugar on top).

Granddaughter's frizzle laid her first egg today. She was so excited. She made a nest for it and then said she wanted to be a chicken too.

I changed dentists when my sister found a new one and said.................."Did you know your teeth weren't supposed to hurt all the time?". I went to this new dentist, he fixed LOTS of problems and said...................Okay, we'll get you back on track with coming in every 6 mos..................I told him I always went in every six months. He was under the impression I hadn't been to the dentist in years. My old dentist noted some problems I was having, but then shrugged his shoulders and said there wasn't anything he could do. My new dentist has every piece of new-fangled equipment you can imagine. Of course, he retired the end of the year. Now I've switched to the other guy in the office.

When I moved here, last September I took a picture of the pond area. Yes, there is a small garden pond under that mess.

Here it is a couple of days ago. I am working with a non-existing budget. :-)

Still has a long way to go. But it is a start.

Gave away a bunch of chicks. I am working on the Alohas and I did not like what I was getting so I am pretty much starting over. I kept a couple, but I got rid of about 40 chicks. Parent's are gonna be the next to go. Feed costs too much to be raising them up and hoping for some quality.

My dang Violet Laced Wyandottes are driving me crazy! Fertility is horrible. I am lucky to get 2 chicks out of 15 eggs set. I have a trio. I have trimmed them and everything.

I guess I am not too good at lurking. Hi Kelly and Mary. See I am participating.
looks great already
Kathy, Love the broodies, dels, chicks.....sorry about the little one...

Mary, Great group shot of your celebration!

Tonya, NO lurking.......participation!!

Jason, Sounds like you are hatching non-stop!

Brad, Yum on the boil pot!

Linda, I'm jealous!

Dar, You need to take better care of yourself!

Sorry if I missed you. At home for lunch and things to do............

Congrats on the BYC anniversaries!

I sure feel like I am hatching none stop lol. It is at a smaller level than most here though.

My dentist has a billion toys too. But here in silly valley he does a lot of teeth whitening. I hate getting my teeth cleaned so I go to the high maintenance girl who takes care of us people who freak out.
