I switched from a vacuum to a leaf blower for coop cleaning. But wear a mask and goggles if you try it!

Can't do that. I have an incurable, progressive lung disease. No dust for me!

No kidding. This one should stay pretty nice for awhile as I am just using it for some grow-outs. There are 11 of them though.

13 chicks under the broody. One zipping, two pipped. Nothing in the others.

Just went in to check the bator... the 2 pipped were out and the one that was zipping was shrink wrapped. Came out of an dark Olive egg. Still trying to get it's legs after a bit of help. One more pipped. I have doubts for the others. I'll listen to them in the morning... perhaps poke a hole in the top of each and up the humidity some more.

20 hatched, 2 duds... died in the last day or so, 1 I'm still holding out hope for.

I badly need a dog house . rabbit hutch or wood box of some sort for a temp coop while I get mine built. I was thinking of building my own but no way no time. Once I ran the numbers I would of maybe saved 150 bucks for the size I need.
so today I finish the run minus my coop. while I search for something temporary for youngsters
