Congrats Linda. Hope the inspections go well for you. The well inspection was scary for us because the property we were in escrow on at the time had a dirty well and one cleaning didn't fix it. Fingers crossed for you!

Now, let the animal hoarding begin. I was overzealous last time.

I just ran into Dar on Facebook. I told him we missed him and asked him to pop in, say Hi, and post pics. Two out of three would be nice. Dar must have attended the Jake Levi School of Internet Picture Posting.

That school is out of biz, just when it needs to be in biz, got Icelandic Chicks in the hatcher, due on Monday, but ya'll know how precocious that they are !

Tween cameras right now, really wish I had one too, it will be, it really really will be !

This hatcher is 4' from my pillow, other room was too humid and had poor hatches, these are by my Isi, that I got from Mary. He is in his forever home. Have two of his grown sons here too, one like him but bigger, and one Black Breasted Duckwing, very dark all around. Bjorn the Dark and Magnus the Great. Biggest Icelandic rooster I have seen so far.

I'll have sweet music all night I am thinking. Finest kind.

We miss Dar on the Icelandic thread. And all of you too.

Hi Jake! Does your cell phone take pics? I would love to see that big Icelandic rooster. Keep us posted on the hatch. I have ten Icelandics in the incubator on Day 2 and 6 BCM's. I am really excited about them, but I am always excited when I hatch. probably an endorphin thing.

Hi Laura! Welcome to the thread.

I wonder how Dar is doing without chickens?

I'm beat. Went to help at an Eagle Scout project today. We were only going to work until 11:00, but he didn't have enough help. My oldest and I stayed the whole day. From 8-3 I stacked river rock, only stopping for lunch. One more work day and he will have his project done.

My poor old Welsummer Cathy has the worst job in the yard. Herding the icelandic juveniles into the coop at night.








I took over for her and got in done in no time at all!
