Hooray for pullet sales.Go figure, my 9 month old welsummer pullets that have been laying, have quit and are now going through a minor molt. And my 7 month old freeloaders (barnevelders) haven't started laying yet.
I did sell 2 pullets to a family that found out (via me) that they had a rooster. That only left them with 2 pullets and they mentioned that they had been asking the feed store for some grown pullets. I told them I had a couple to sell, and I took them over yesterday. Very nice family, and they were very happy to get some more pullets to their flock. They asked me to let them know if I end up with a couple more later.

We are only getting two eggs a day right now- I know how it is. And even the organic eggs from the store have those pale yellow yolks, and not much flavor to them.
