Go figure, my 9 month old welsummer pullets that have been laying, have quit and are now going through a minor molt. And my 7 month old freeloaders (barnevelders) haven't started laying yet.

I did sell 2 pullets to a family that found out (via me) that they had a rooster. That only left them with 2 pullets and they mentioned that they had been asking the feed store for some grown pullets. I told them I had a couple to sell, and I took them over yesterday. Very nice family, and they were very happy to get some more pullets to their flock. They asked me to let them know if I end up with a couple more later.

Hooray for pullet sales.

We are only getting two eggs a day right now- I know how it is. And even the organic eggs from the store have those pale yellow yolks, and not much flavor to them. So we just save up our two eggs a day for about a couple of weeks and then have scrambled eggs (when my family of four eats scrambled eggs we use about 24

eggs and "just" eat eggs that meal, or maybe have a couple of pieces of toast with them).

We have chickens who are supposed to start laying any day now too.

Congrats on your helping them out!
