Speckledhen, I think I will have to try your mayo and BBQ sauce mixture. That sounds good. My DH loves to mix mayo and things to make his own tartar sauce and thousand island dressing already.
 
Kathy, I think he looks happier in the pics with Winston than in the Santa hat!

Winston had a Santa hat too but getting them both to keep them on long enough for a picture was a hopeless cause. Tucker crashed big time last night. He played hard!
 
Tried my cloche today, it baked a lovely looking loaf, now I have to work some on the taste - the recipe I tried was lacking some pretty important steps (I should have read up a little more first). Here shown with dinner (pot of spaghetti simmering all afternoon)

I will do that! I did start a sourdough culture but it has a ways to go before being ready to use for bread.

The Oregon Sourdough is ready for bread in a week or several refreshes.

It is very tasty too.
