The bigger emu egg appears to have an owie(crack???) on one side - hope they both are fertile. Maybe Louis is sneaky at night, he doesn't want you to be shooting videos of his technique.

Not a crack, just some debris. I hope somebody id putting' the moves on out there! I am not quite sure what to do with the eggs. I don't want to hatch willy-nilly unless I have orders for chicks. If the boys start sitting I'll let them hatch. I really don't need more emus. ( Maybe you could get your zoning changed)

I am ok. Back home after a root canal and a filling for a cavity in the adjacent tooth. Root canal was on tooth worked on by my nightmare dentist and the cavity was collateral damage. Taking meds and going to bed. Thanks for the love and support. Mahonri has talked me down from the ledge via PM's the last couple of days. Bless you all.

I am so sorry you had this to go through. I hate pain.

My teeth are so bad I fear that when and if they get in there again the work will be endless. I am not in pain and they can be used at present. I think every tooth I have has had at least two trips to work on them. Some day they will all get pulled and I will get false ones. Yuck.! My gums are so tender.

Mary I hate tooth pain! If it is at all practical I can tell you I had one of those fake teeth in on the one that died on me and it is great. Pain free and easy to clean might consider it if your bone is good. Why are these in the middle??? I blame my phone.

In the middle of a winter storm, both highways leaving town are closed down as well as the Mackinac bridge to the Lower Peninsula. So much for heading south and visiting my parents this weekend - maybe hop on the snowmobile instead and go over to Mackinac Island for lunch tomorrow.

Nothing like a blizzard to give you second thoughts about hatching!

Good news. The replacement power cord from Brinsea arrived today and it fixed the problem! I ordered another for the second EcoGlow. I can move my baby chick out of the basement!

Stay safe with all that crazy weather you guys are having! Our weather is crazy too, but the opposite of yours - we aren't getting any rain. Worst drought in recorded history.

I also heard that MI is having propane shortages, that makes it really hard for people to stay warm!

Oklahoma is having propane shortages, too- costed me over $300 to get a 30% fill on my tank last week.

In October I filled the thing full for $700. Propane guy said our shortage is even worse because they are shipping OUR propane east to help cover the shortages over there! We are unusually cold this year but at least we aren't being dumped with snow every week like the east.
