Sweet Maria's is in Oakland, so ground shipping is usually less than $9.00 for 5 pounds.

I roast the beans--I roasted a batch last night. It is fairly easy to do with a hot air popper.

Not sure. I almost tried it unintentionally when I was feeding this morning and didn't get the latch properly secured.

Very happy for you! Yes, I'm jealous, but it is great that there has been rain (finally) for you. Drought is not enjoyable for anyone.

My Plum tree is in full Bloom and the weather is supposed to be perfect for pollination for the next two days. I might have some plums this year!

I am only growing mud!
I planted a bunch of seed in my bald patches during the deluge. Some is coming up.

Our lawn is happy but its mostly a smelly mess out there.

I hope we get enough rain to keep food prices reasonable im worried worried about the farmers out there.

Here we have brown grass, brown mud, but the only snow is in shady areas and north sides of hills.
