Stella's Social Club

A customer of Blue Roo Creations, requested a back scrubber. Never crocheted one before, but I did and just got the review-a big hit! I was thinking these might be nice especially this summer when we all take so many showers and baths. It has little nubbies for texture on one side-the other side is like a regular crocheted washcloth. I'm currently making more of them. They are crocheted of 100% soft cotton, more gentle on the skin than those nylon things you buy commercially. They can be thrown in the washer and dryer as well. This is a consumer questionnaire of sorts for the Stella people. What do you think about this? Do you think you would use one of these? Trying to gauge how much time I should spend making them or if I should just make a few and do others on special request.

A washcloth and scrubber set we have in the store. The second pic shows the nubby texture on one side.

My Plum tree is in full Bloom and the weather is supposed to be perfect for pollination for the next two days. I might have some plums this year!

My Plums and Pluots are in full bloom. My peaches and nectarines are just starting. My bees are going crazy! We'll see how having them for pollination this year helps my fruit crops!

Mary - beautiful picture! It's so nice to see green again!

I hope the set fruit and that we do not have a late frost!

So the bees over wintered ok this year?
For Happy Chooks or all of California?

NPR had a segment about bees yesterday and they said it was bad and going to be worse after the Almond bloom was over. There was no food for them before Almonds so they are weak and the no food after Almonds. More than normal in the State died this winter--more than the usual 30%.

I hope Kelley's will be OK!

Having free range chickens means I can't grow any grass, no matter what I do. It would necessitate penning them for a couple of months, then they'd just eat it down again in no time.

Technically, I don't have grass either. I have weeds that resemble grass. But it's GREEN!

I was thinking Kelly's, and I'm glad hers are doing great. Scary to hear about Cali. in general, that's really bad for food prices.
