Well, ew. I don't eat peeps nor do I generally like boiled eggs.

Look at these pretty boys I have. Not intending to keep any, but I sure like them. I did end up with a pretty Blue Rock pullet, a barred pullet and an interesting sorta-Dellie-sorta-mottled pullet, plus two solid black ones, but all are going to live in KY with Cetawin and her elderly neighbor.

This Delawegger guy turned out to be so sweet, though Rex hates him and won't share the hens willingly.

Oh, those are all cockerels in the previous photos, though the blue barred one has a confusing pullet-like body. The thick legs and early bright pink comb were the only reason I thought male with that round body he has. I love the ice blue male! That is Iceman, like from Top Gun. And the black cockerel is Maverick.

Here are two of the pullets, including the blue one.

My husbands grandparents have both been deceased for several years, the property has been for sale since at least 2008. The family has been gradually chipping away at the huge amount of things amassed in their house, shed, shop, and the old gas station out front. A fire last summer ruined what was left of the house which was sad. Tonight while we were there for an easter egg hunt and cookout, and my father-in-law unlocked the gas station for us to take a look around. I have never stepped foot in there, it has always been packed to the ceiling with "treasures." (I call it the Myers Packrat gene) BUT tonight I found some cool treasures of my own. Three wood and one metal Old Trusty incbuators. Not sure yet what I want to do with them. They have quite a bit of water damage from the leaky ceiling in the station.
That will be a fun project! Lovely pictures this morning everyone. Hope you all Had a great easter!

Good grief. Spell check!

I just had to make a bunch of corrections to my blog post where spell check automatically changed the word entries to entires. What the heck is entires?
