Hello!, Is this the first post today?

Yes it's been very quiet today!

Funny story- a few weeks ago we had dinner at my mom's house with all my family, this is a monthly occurrence to celebrate that month's birthdays. Anyway, my 16yo sister was teasing my youngest by pretending to "eat" her dinosaurs. She kept telling Lydia they were in her tummy now. So Lydia had to "eat" them, too and stuck them down her dress! The smocking held them in place, it was hilarious.

We were hunting frogs down by our pond last week, and watching our chocolate Muscovys!

We also got goats about 2 months ago, they were bottle babies and are getting so big!! The does are named Ahna and Emily, the buck is Pokey (short for Pokemon... yes the 8yo named him...).

And a few of my Cream Legbars I am growing out- super pleased with the ones I chose to keep this year.

lonny, great story..and photos! Would love to own goats. :) That little girl is darling.

Thanks! We moved out to a some acreage (9 acres) about 6 months ago to have more room- and although it has been a TOUGH six months we are finally really enjoying it. We finally sold our old house- closed last week- and that is SUCH a relief. Nearly have the chickens set up for easier care and have the goat house half built (they are using a temporary shelter right now).

Lydia is two and a half, and she gets all the perks of being The Baby and she knows it! My kids are 2, 4, 6, and 8. Ammon is oldest and he is really getting to be a good little helper. Hannah, too- she's six and loves to be Mommy's helper.
