Is this to me?

Three of four eggs developed and two hatched. They are eight weeks old now and I'm quite certain they are both boys

, Amos and Andy (can you tell I'm old?)

I'll post a picture update of them. They are still living in the house in a large finch flight cage, I was afraid to put them outside

too many predators living out there!
Someone on Rare Breed Auctions paid GFF $3700.00 + for a pair, couldn't get response to requests for shipping date, weren't home to pick them up when they did ship, and one died, according to the negative feedback.

$3700!!!!! The day I pay that for a bird is the day I go CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yipes, that sounds criminal! Not just the price but the horrendous treatment they endured! What breed were they, again?

Yes, to you! I am glad you got two boys, they must be a great barnyard addition! Any chance you could get hens?

That's insane, I would never pay something like that. And I have heard of lots of problems with GFF. I wouldn't have these at all if it weren't for having a good friend.....

Now, I will admit when I was in the frog hobby, I once paid $1,600 for a pair of one inch frogs. I called them Mr. Howell and Lovey. I actually had several species that were several hundred dollars per frog. But for the most part fairly easy to breed and sell to other hobbyist.

But $1,000's for a chicken? Nope. My chickens pretty much have to live outside in a pen, surrounded by marauding raccoons, skunks & opossum. My frogs lived indoors in a climate controlled room. A whole different set of circustances.

Actually yes, refer to above friend

At cemanifarms.com you can purchase a 1 month old for $490.00 plus International shipping

Actually some laughing chickens seem to be great, change in rooster song.

I cannot afford either of them, but enjoy dreaming!

Please, keep us posted
