I am busily preparing my house and and porches for the 4th of July and a 4 day visit with my son and his family.

It's over 100 today, bad day for baking.

It was in the seventies today and that is hot for us well eighties are hot I guess.

It was hot to us and very , very humid so I didn't cook either. I just popped open a pint of Ben & Jerry's "Hazed and confused," and cooled off quickly. If you don't know, it has a core of hazelnut similar to Nutella . Needless to say I was very pleased with it till I scraped the last drop from the carton. Somehow I have never learned to accept "all gone!" Rats!! First I'm like this

Only in the 80's today, but we are heading into the high 90's by the 4th. Right close to 100. I don't like the heat. I don't do heat. Heat is not a good thing with me. :/ I may have to go to that moat. Eew, ice cream and moat, just doesn't sound like it goes too well together.

They are forecasting dry & 70's for the 4th. Yeah right. We either get raw & cold & rainy or most often 90-100, humidity off the charts and then storms for comic effect.

If we do get beautiful weather I would probably be ' so' in denial, I would just sleep in all day and then cuss myself out the next when I discover it WAS beautiful.
