Stella's Social Club

Thank you for the warning. I never clean behind the sofa or under it. If someone has a problem with that, they can do the cleaning. I'm always afraid something is under there.
For that very reason I have never owned a cat and never will.

We did feed a stray once & while he was here(outside only) we had NO mice in the kennel or house. Plus he used to leave chipmunk "gunk " all over the front stoop.

I have to say with all the dogs not one paid attention to mice. We had them because the dogs liked to prop the in/out door on the top of their heads and watch the world go by.
Not one iota of interest in the things that made 'mama' scream. Bad dogs.

Oh my, no cars for me and if Tucker takes an interest in chipmunks or mice he's outta' here!

I think Brabanters are a bit high strung.

I moved the Merlerault out to the big brooder this morning. I have more Brabanter eggs coming Tuesday and more Merlerault chicks this week too.

If Kelly has a good Icelandic cockerel from my last purchased eggs I will be set for all my breeds! She put Icelandic chicks under her broodies.

Hopefully next Spring I'll be selling hatching eggs again!

Here are the Merlerault before the big move this morning.

Kelly! I got the first egg from my little Wellie girl today. It is so tiny. The large end is a nice terra cotta color with a few speckles. Here it is next to a large brown egg.

Two more. I needed a picture today to interpret the word "running." Michael chased the emus for me! Loca was having nothing to do with it but Stuart took the bait!

Made yesterday. Sorry about all the pics. I am just going nuts with my camera!
It is really good. I am posting the recipe on my blog tomorrow. I tweaked the heck out of a regular banana bread recipe to make it "healthier. "
